I, like most of you I would assume, spend a lot of time listening to other DJ's podcasts, and predominantely in this section I will share ones that really stand out with you.
I will also be sharing videos, new gear, technology, nights, in fact just about anything.
666 - supa dupa fly
(sgt renzo is it grime remix)
I was recently sent this tune by an up and coming, and yet unsigned London based DJ / Producer Sgt Renzo. I get sent quite a few tunes yet I don't normally feel the need to write about them on my site here, however this one has stood out from the crowd. The main reason for this is I cannot place it into a specific genre - the sound is so unique and fresh, and has got London nightclub written all over it.
I've played this out a few times now and so far the reception has been great - this tune is going to be staying in the box for some time now to let as many people here this interesting new sound.

white lies - death (chase & status mix)
I have to say, my music tastes aren't changing at all, but most definately widening. Drum and Bass and Dubstep are rapidly becoming fast fast favourites of mine, and I'm thinking about mashing some styles up in an upcoming podcast to see what happens!
This tune however for me is absolute quality. A proper summer anthem. I heard it the other day when Annie Mac was DJ'ing at Glasto '09 and it went off!

Since my good friend Sgt Renzo introduced me to the world of production, I have to admit I have been hooked. Started working on a whole host of tunes, but this is the first one I've arranged and completed to a final track.
Keep your eyes on this section as I progress throughout my production career, as I shall no doubt be improving with every release.

With Summer vaguely approaching, my thoughts at this time of year normally turn towards beer gardens, sun, beer, and gardens!
This tune was sent to me by a fellow DJ who is a really good mate of mine, and I absolutely love it! This for me, IS the "preparing for summer" tune.
